How Romanian Shipping handles merchant and order data.

Romanian Shipping is used to connect a Shopify store to Bookurier shipment workflows. This page explains what information the app uses, why it is used, and how it is handled.

What the app stores

The app stores the Shopify shop domain, the store's offline access token, and the Bookurier credentials entered for that specific shop.

These credentials are stored per shop so one merchant's carrier access is not shared with another merchant.

What the app processes

The app processes Shopify order identifiers and shipment preparation data in order to generate Bookurier shipment payloads.

When the recipient workflow is used manually, the shipment details entered by store staff are processed for shipment creation.

How data is used

Data is used only to support app installation, store authentication, per-store carrier configuration, and shipment workflow operations inside Shopify.

The app is not intended to use customer data for advertising or unrelated profiling.

Compliance requests

Mandatory Shopify compliance webhooks are configured through Amazon EventBridge for customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction topics.

This supports Shopify's required privacy and compliance event flow for public apps.

Contact and operational use

Romanian Shipping is intended for merchants who need to prepare Bookurier shipments from Shopify orders. If the app later expands its data access or operational scope, this privacy policy should be updated to reflect those changes accurately.
